I totally agree, your blog is very informative. The improving of solar technology is going to be a major part of our future. Panels are getting thinner and lighter and producing more power all the time. Soon we will be able to harness this incredible source of energy for much more of our use. This is one of the best ways to start becoming self-sufficient.

I cannot stress the importance of the first step, calling a professional solar company for an evaluation. I skipped the step and wasted so much time shopping around on my own only to find out that my house was not suitable.

Remember, choosing a solar panel on price alone is not wise, as it may not fit the area you wish to install it, may not have the necessary certifications to qualify for government rebates, or may not have the warranty required for economic payback of the power produced.

I think some are still confused about these things, and I believe that people should start small, maybe 1 or 2 panels and learn as they go. This will also help them get excited.
